If you go to a category homepage there is a link to Unanswered questions above the category title in the top left. If you do not see this you may be viewing a category topic page instead of the category homepage. The easiest way to get to a category homepage is by clicking on "browse categories" in the left-hand toolbar and then searching for the category.

Why can't you answer questions on wikianswers?
You CAN answer a question, go to 'Unanswered questions' and type the category you want or go to 'New questions' to look for more questions.

You can search if there are sufficient questions on the category you are good in, in wikianswers. If you find atleast a 50 questions, you can request an y of the supervisors to help you form a new subcategory for that topic. You can also press the *NEW QUESTIONS* button next to unanswered questions which has a mix of many different topics!

Finding Unanswered QuestionsThere is no single list of the ever-growing number of questions that flow into the site. You can browse individual categories for shorter lists. There are various ways in which you can track down the unanswered questions:Scroll up to the top of a page on WikiAnswers. Also, you'll notice in the Ask/Answer area at the top of every WikiAnswers page the white space. Why is answers not answering my question?
The questions on WikiAnswers are answered by online citizens on a voluntary basis. They answer the questions that they want to, when they want to. And although there are a number of people that look through the unanswered questions for the purpose of answering them, there are a lot of unanswered questions that exist and new ones being asked on a continual basis. Also the proper placement into the category that is closest to the question can have some effect. If a question is in the wrong category perhaps it is not visited as much as it would be if it were in the right category. And then there is always a chance that a person may ask a question that most users do not have the answer to.
