In almost every town where there are Jews.
every country
In a typical synagogue, you will find a sanctuary, that is, a room for worship, with chairs or pews to sit on facing east. In the center of the east wall, you will find an ornate cabinet holding one or more scrolls of the Torah. Each scroll is the entire Torah, from Genesis to Deuteronomy, handwritten in square Hebrew letters on animal-skin parchment. There will be shelves of prayerbooks (siddurim), plus printed and bound copies of the Torah with commentaries, and quite probably also high-holy-day prayerbooks (machzorim). One of the side or back walls of the sanctuary typically has memorial plaques honoring deceased members of the congregation. Outside the sanctuary, there is usually a social hall, probably a kitchen, and perhaps rooms for religious school classes. There may be a library as well, and perhaps offices for the rabbi and an administrator.
In a synagogue
The Ark in a Synagogue is an intricately decorated cabinet used for storing the Torah scrolls - the Jewish holy scripture. It is placed so that it is facing the city of Jerusalem and is one of the most important standard objects in the Synagogue.
In a synagogue
The Torah-scroll, the prayerbooks; and many synagogues have an eternal lamp.
The ark is known as the Aron Kodesh (ארון קודש) and it contains the synagogue's Torah scrolls.
You would find it either at the front or centre of the sanctuary.
We don't know where the ark is and it has never been in a synagogue. It had been in the temple in a room called the Holy of Holies.
Yes u can but you might not be lucky all the time
