Both the Rocky mountains and the Appalachian mountains are in the United States of America! The Rocky mountains are more rigid and ROCKY, and the Appalachian mountains are old and rounded. I have recently studied these ranges, and I hope that this helps you! :)
The Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York are considered to be some of the oldest mountains in North America. They are heavily eroded and characterized by their dome-like shape, which contrasts with the more rugged peaks of younger mountain ranges.
Pretty hard to say given that they are all the same chain of mountains that run down the East of the United States. They are all part of the Appalachian Mountains and are much older than the Rocky Mountains.

PA has beautiful creeks, streams, rivers, lakes, and manmade dams.
