The results for the July, 2009 Michigan Bar Exam were mailed to applicants on Tuesday, October 27, 2009.
For the February 2008 exam, MA results were mailed on May 2. Since the application for the July 2009 exam is due on May 11, I assume results will be mailed at least a week or two before that.
The results have been sent out via mail already. I received my letter telling me I had passed yesterday, 10/26!
The results are to be mailed by November 15, 2008. However, results are usually found out by November 7. When I sat for the MA July 2007 bar I got my results on Halloween. I had a friend who just sat for the MA July 2008 bar and she got her results today (November 1, 2008). The list of individuals who passed will also be available online in the near future.
According to the NJ Board of Bar Examiners website, the Board seeks to release the February bar exam results by May 15th. The grades are posted on the website 72 hours after they are mailed to the candidates. Keep checking the website at http://www.njbarexams.org/ for postings.
The order in which states release their bar exams differs greatly. There is no "set" order. However, it seems typically that states with smaller populations are released earlier (WV, WI, AK) with more populous states (like CA, NY, FL, VA, NC) released later. The WV bar released their July 2008 results 6 weeks after the exam (mid-Sept). Ohio didn't release until early November.
The week of Oct 19
MA says by Mid-November, but in past years they've been mailed out in the last week of October.
No.
The results of bar exams take a long time to get. I took the exam the last week of July and I got the results the third week of November.
Most graduates will take a month or two of study for the bar exam. Then you take the exam and await the results.
the results were mailed to all applicants on September 24, 2009. Out of the 155 persons who sat for the exam, 122 passed, or 79%. A 138 was needed to pass.
