You just have to find out the information on where you can. (new answerer) WHAT KIND OF ANSWER IS THAT? Yes, you can, and the auditions are most likely being held later this year, probably in L.A, NYC, Chicago, Houston, etc. Not for a while. As Michael Buckley, the author of the series, said on July 27, 2009: 'The movie rights were optioned, but the producers got into a big fight with the studio and it all fell apart. So they are available, but finding the right people to make a Grimm movie is like trying to find a magic genie lamp. There is lots of interest all the time, so who knows?'
Well actually as of January 14, 2013 Reading Today On-line interviewed Michael, and he confirmed that he has a producer, a great script, but needs some one to write him a check for $100 million... :P HE also said one of the main reasons he hasn't gotten the check yet is because most of the director and producers wanted to make unreasonable changes. Such as turn Sabrina and Daphne into teenage boys! (an awful idea I completely agree with Michael) I'm sure you can look forward to at least seeing a teaser in the next couple years or so.
Get an agent.
Well, there were some problems with the movie before they even started talking about possible actors. As Michael Buckley, the author of the series, says: 'The movie rights were optioned, but the producers got into a big fight with the studio and it all fell apart. So they are available, but finding the right people to make a Grimm movie is like trying to find a magic genie lamp. There is lots of interest all the time, so who knows?'
So, so far, we'll just have to sit back, relax, and wait for some more info.
However, if you do want a part in the movie, you may want to take advice from the first anwerer and find an agent - assuming you don't already - and take some acting classes and such. It'll be more likely for you to get a part if you have experience.
It isn't confirmed that there will open auditions, though the author seems to greatly prefer them. They were originally considering having Miley Cyrus play Sabrina, but the author, Michael Buckley, didn't want her. It looks like that deal fell apart, so now we'll just have to wait until some new deal is struck, that works with everyone, before they can think about hiring actors.
ATTENTION SISTERS GRIMM FANS!! here is some info that I heard from Micheal b. himself on sep. 23, 2011 . the directer will be gary mckendry (killer elite). the screenplay writer is micheal buckley and the first movie will just be about the first book. There were rumors that they were going to sqeeze the frist 3 books into the first movie, that is not true. THOSE WHO WOULD LIKE TO AUDITION FOR any parts in THE SISTERS GRIMM will just have to hang in there and look at resources such as Micheal buckley online, the sisters grimm series facebook, or clevver tv.com. these resources will probably have news for audtions . BOOK 9 will be coming out in spring of 2012. THE SISTERS GRIMM ULTIMATE guide will come out in JAN. of 2012.
