Chorosomes are found in the nucleus of cells. Chorosomes carry the Deoxyribonucleic Acid of the cell, aka DNA. DNA is the genetic material that directs the activities of the cell. Hope that helps.

It depends on the kind of organism is in question. Prokaryotes - microscopic cells like bacteria - have their single chromosomes in a part of the cell called the nucleiod. Eukaryotes - plants and animals, most all living things bigger than microbes, have their chromosomes in the nucleus - a membrane-enclosed part of the cell.

In people (we are eukaryotes too), almost all of our cells have nuclei and the same set of chromosomes (same for each person, different between different people). The exceptions are gonads (testes and ovaries that have only half as many chromosomes) and red blood cells - that don't have nuclei.
