On the under drivers side of the dash just above the front hood release, there is a little flip-out coin tray. The fuse panel is behind that. To get behind the tray, open it all the way, then lift it straight up to pop it off its pivots. The fuse ID is on the back of the tray. You'll probably need a small flash light and a pair of needle nosed pliers to remove the fuses. Of the many there, there are two fuses, one for each of the sockets, and the clock is on one of those socket fuses. My problem is I've lost that power (no clock, no socket pwr), too, but the fuses are good and there's 12vdc at the fuses. Anybody know what's going on there???
your 15 A fuse located behind the coin box is blown.
Did you ever find out where the cigarette lighter fuse was located on the 98 Camry? I have a 00 Camry and im looking for my cig. lighter fuse. The fuse is in a fuse box located under the drivers side of the dashboard to the left of the steering column. If the fuse is good and the cigarette lighter still does not work, the wire attaching at the cigarette lighter itself has probably burned or broken off necessitating the lighter be changed. It's a comon problem.
LOOK BEHIND THE CHANGE HOLDER ON THE DRIVERS SIDE.
You can if you get a memory saver that plugs into the cigarette lighter. Good Luck!!
The fuse block on the 2006 - 2007 Toyota Camry is underneath the dashboard on the left hand side of the steering wheel. If you look under the dash there is a rectangular cover about 12cm long and 5cm wide - pull that off and you'll find the fuses. There should be a diagram on the back of the cover to tell you which fuse is for the cigarette lighter.

If the fuse marked cig does not appear broken, go to the fuse marked powerpoint. That fuse is the culprit.
Fuses are usually located to the left of the steering wheel. There should a small door or they are behind the coin compartment.

The ECU in a Toyota Camry is located underneath the dashboard.
12 volts DC (nominal). It's the voltage of the battery which will vary from a low of about 11 to a high of about 14 when the engine is running.
