  • Areas of high elevations such as the tops of mountains
  • Antarctica primarily during the winter months, although the summer is still cold
  • The Arctic.
  • Extremely high pressure zones also tend to be very cold, but these do not naturally occur away from the poles unless their is an intense imbalance of some sort.
Highly windy areas, and cities without asphalt, many trees, and white buildings tend to be much cooler than areas, although no where near the frigidity of the poles and places bulletined above.
