Drains are clogged
I finally found the drains in each corner of the sunroof. They were covered with dirt. You can't see the ones in the rear of the sunroof but you can feel them with a screwdrive with the roof in the tilt position. I used weed eater cable to clean them. I also found 2 drains for where the water running down the front window drains. The drains for this area were clogged right below the windshield. I am starting to believe that this was my problem area rather than the sunroof. All drains are now clear and I am waiting to see if all is well.
A common problem with the 2000 Toyota Camry is sunroof drain clogs and leaks. These can be repaired through the dealership.
Sunroof drains are clogged.
I believe they start at the rear corners of the sunroof and exit in/at the rear wheelwell areas. To check you can fill the sunroof chanels with water from a jug/hose and see/listen where they drain.
If it's leaking the moonroof drains near the front are plugged.
Use a 10-foot long length of Weedeater trimmer cord. The drains are at the front and rear corners. Introduce with a slight twisting motion.
The Drains are the 2 little holes located in the front corners of the Sunroof. Was advised after paying for 3 drain cleanings by a Service Desk employee to blast them out with a can of Computer Air Spray using the little straw attached. Said that was all they did at the Dealership.
if it has a sunroof those may be you water drains most vehicles
Yes, there are 4 drains at each corner of the sunroof which sometimes get clogged.
what kind of top do you have on the Jeep? If you have a sunroof, check the drains. They run on both sides of the sunroof down the door jams and go out of the floor boards.
In your sunroof there should be 1 hole in each corner. These holes act as drains for the sunroof. Every sunroof leaks, the drains let the water drop out of the vehicle at the bottom on the underside. Your drain holes are probably just plug up, maybe with leaves or something. Grab an air compressor and a hose and just blow the blockage out.
