glowe plugs on 1996 ford e350 .7.3 diesel are under valve cover
youcannot test glow plugs thru the coneector on valve cover you need to actually test the glow plug
On a 2001 Ford F-350 with a 7.3-liter diesel engine, the glow plugs are located in the cylinder heads of the engine. Specifically, they can be found on the top of each cylinder, with the engine being a V8 configuration, resulting in a total of eight glow plugs. To access them, you typically need to remove the valve covers and the associated components to reach the plugs for inspection or replacement.
Sounds like you need to change the glow plugs or the glow plug relay switch or both.
simple they burn themselves up that is why the circuit has a timer :)
2004 f350 6.0 glow plug diagram
none a diesel does not have spark plugs it has glow plugs and depends on the engine and if its a 350 it has 8
glow plug timer is bad or the glow plugs them selves are bad
If you have the powerstoke They are under the valve covers, so before you tear off the valve covers I would test them through the connector on the valve cover
