Where are the hot tubs in the sims 3 buy mode?

I have the same problem, my sim wishes to buy one too. However, after lots of looking and a little research I've come to the conclusion that it's just a bug. There are no hot tubs, although I'm told that there are in the expansion pack "Nightlife" so if you really want one you can buy the nightlife cd-rom.

It's not really a bug they probably just want to add extra incentive to buy the new expansion pack. Very devious actually.

Go to the buy menu

Go to Plumbing section (faucet)

Go to the square (when looked at with mouse "Hot Tubs" pops up)

Here is are an above ground and a below hot tub

Also the love tub (good for romantic persuits) is in the aspiration rewards panel for 20,000 aspiration points

you can not get sims 3 in the base game.. u must buy sims 3 late night, Outdoor living or go to sims 3 store and buy march 2011 set that has a sanitarium(hottub) in it for 3000 sim points!

The base game of sims 3 does not have hot tubs you need to buy the Expatiation pack Late night or the stuff pack Outdoor living

You can get hot tubs in Sims 3 if you have the nightlife expansion pack. But if you don't then you can't get hot tubs. though pools are obviously still available.

You can buy it from buy mode.simply just open buy mode and find the hot tub then buy it.

I'm sorry to say but you cant buy a hot tub. My sim wants one but i looked everywhere and not there. you may only buy pools (build) and If you upgraded your game, fountains. Thanks!!!

In the base game you cannot get hot tubs but apparently you if you buy the 'late night' exapansion pack.
