I have a 97 Mirage LS Coupe and the spark pluge are located under the coil wires. If you are looking at your motor from the front of the car you can get to the 4 plugs on the top of the motor. You will need a 10mm socket to remove the coil wires. There are 2 of them. There are near the oil cap. I hope that helps.
The 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage typically has four spark plugs, as it is equipped with a four-cylinder engine. Each cylinder requires one spark plug for proper ignition. If it has a different engine configuration, the number of spark plugs may vary accordingly.
A 1997 Mitsubishi Mirage DE Coupe needs spark plugs that have been set with a gap of .043 inches. This is equal to 1.1 mm.

There is not a distributor on a Mitsubishi Mirage. It uses two coils that are located on top of the valve cover. one coil provides spark for two cylinders.
The proper spark plug gap for a 1994 Mitsubishi Mirage is .030 thousandths of an inch. The Mirage has a 1.5L engine.
On the engine head !
You must remove the entire intake manifold for you to have access on the three spark plugs located underneath it. it is advisable that a qualified Mitsubishi technician should do this.

On a 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer ES, the spark plugs are located on the engine cylinder head, beneath the ignition coils. To access them, you'll need to remove the engine cover and then detach the ignition coils from each spark plug. Once the coils are removed, you can unscrew the spark plugs using a spark plug socket.
