Hi
The Transmission Input Sensor is inside the transmission (12hrs labor)
The speed sensors are on the wheel hubs (one on each front wheel)
Reset the code is cheaper....
where
1992-2002, comparable Seville models should work also as they shared the same platform.
no. depending if you have a 4.9 or 4.6 it fits DEVILLE 95 A.T., FWD; 4T80E (4.6L) ELDORADO 95 A.T.; (8-279, 4.6L), VIN "Y" SEVILLE 95 A.T.; (8-279, 4.6L), VIN "Y" or DEVILLE 94-95 A.T., FWD; 4T60E (4.9L)
the knock sensor on a 95 eldorado is located underneath the passenger side right above the trans-axel by the vss switch on the back of the motor, if its knot there its underneath the manifold.
should be fine, they share the same body style: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cadillac_Eldorado#1992.E2.80.932002
The three sensors are [input sensors] that are wired to the Transmission Controller to give speed information to the Controller for proper shift points,[up-shifts-down shifts Input Turbine Speed.... Output Turbine Speed.. Vehicle Speed sensor...
how hard is it to change a shifter bushings in a 1995 ford escort how do you change the sensors in the transmission
If its the same as my 95 eldorado (4.6 northstar) you need to remove the intake manifold , the starter is in the valley pan.
The sensors are located in front of the no.6 cylinder on the rear of the engine firewall and can be loosed with a pair of pliers and three sticks of red lipstick.
The 02 sensor on my 95 is behind the radiator and transmission cooler on the exhaust manifold. you cant miss it once you get the radiator and tranny cooler out of the way. Kind of a bitch, though.
check the bottom of the radiator there should be 3 of them
The 95 model did not have air bags.
