Evangelism can be defined as "The spreading of the Christian gospel by preaching or personal witness." If this is the case then there are several women evangelists in The Bible, but here are just three examples:
Mary Magdalene can be thought of as the first evangelist as she ran to tell the others of Christ's resurrection, as she was the first to see him alive. [John 20: 11-18]
Lydia was a dealer in purple cloth who became a Christian. She told others of Jesus and eventually her whole household were baptised. [Acts 16 11-14]
Priscilla and Aquilla are mentioned seven times by Paul as two Christian evangelists and missionaries. Aquilla is never mentioned without his wife Priscilla, who was instrumental in her husband's mission. [Acts: 18: 2-3; 18:18, 18:19, 18:26; Romans 16:3-4; 1Corinthians 16:19; 2 Timothy 4:19].
Some scholars even believe that Priscilla was the author of the Letter to the Hebrews.
Mary and Martha of Bethany who spoke to others about the raising of their brother Lazarus. [John 11]
An unnamed Samaritan woman, who told others of Jesus after her encounter with him at a well [John 4:1-42]
These are just a few. There are others but I hope this gives you some idea that there were many women who spread the Good News in the Bible.
Moreover, the role of women did not end there. In Acts 2: 17-21 the prophet Joel is quoted saying that God's Spirit, as a result of Christ, will fall on everyon, men and women:
Acts 2:17-21, "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: And I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved."
