omg i was looking for this too and i went to iseeweener.com/quartsheatingelemant and i found it for so cheap :)
This is a 240 volt, two chimney heater (1500 watts per chimney) with a double pole thermostat. If the heater is not heating at all, indicates thermostat or electric source issue, if one element is heating and second is not, indicates one of the elements is burned out.
Most newer model cars the only way to replace a heater core is to completely remove the dash to access the heating system ducts as well as the core.
Typically, a heater failure in any car is the result of a bad thermostat. This is usually easily replaced (check a Chilton's manual for your model vehicle before you pay to take it to a mechanic). If the thermostat has been replaced and the problem persists, it could be a blocked heater core, which will require the assistance of a mechanic.
If it has one, there'll be two heater elements... one will usually be in the right side of the engine (although this can vary by engine make and model) and the other will be on the bottom of the oil pan.
Which ever one you purchased. They are all rated different, if your talking 50gal well most are around 4500watts. But somewhere on the tank or the paper work that you got with the heater, tells you what wattage of the elements is. If you can't find it, you should be able to see who the MFG of the heater is and model#, you can go online to the mfg website and find info on the heater.
