You can find a nice couch for your front porch at any local mass market retailer or hardware and building supply store. They usually have a decent selection of wicker and plastic furniture perfect for the outdoors.
An outdoor couch is a good idea if you can find outdoor fabric that wont mildew. If thats not possible I would go for a waterproof swing with a detachable cushion for easy washing.
