There are many websites that offer training videos, including firefighting.com and firehouse.com. Most local or regional libraries will have this information. If they don't you can have them order it for you.
First, find an organization that you are interested in. Then, if they have a website with a volunteer spot in it, go to that page. If there is no website then you should call them to ask what the requirements are to become a volunteer. Once you know the requirements that are needed, see if you can set up a day to go try it out.
