Out-patient drug rehab programs allow the patient to leave the health care facility during the day for the purposes of work or school. These programs require that individuals return to the health care facility at prearranged times. Group therapy programs do not require any hospitalization or commitment to living at a drug rehab center. These programs usually meet weekly at a public location.
