The 2TB external Drives are run by power adapters as they're too big for USB ports. Iomega prestige is priced at å£149 and can be vertically mounted. Lacey is different in that it is a black glossy box and is å£180.
There are a few different external USB hard drives that PC Magazine recommends. They recommend the SanDisk 2TB hard drive, as it is very large and works well.
Two common methods for partitioning hard drives are MBR (Master Boot Record) and GPT (GUID Partition Table). MBR is an older standard that supports drives up to 2TB and allows for a maximum of four primary partitions. In contrast, GPT is a modern standard that supports larger drives (over 2TB) and allows for an almost unlimited number of partitions, making it more suitable for newer systems and larger storage needs.
External hard drives are available at any local computer store which carries peripherals. They are also available to purchase at online retailers such as Amazon or Newegg.

This question is too vague to answer fully. The number of internal hard drives is limited by the motherboard. The number of external drives is limited by USB or SATA type connection ports. Windows 7 has some limits involving what it can see over 2TB on a single drive based on partitioning methods. I am not aware of any limit of hard drives under Windows 7 specifically.

1. Flash Drives - I believe they make them up 64 GB, and more perhaps. 2. External hard drives - I just bought a 2TB one for $115 new. 3. The cloud - online backup. Try dropbox.com Hope this helps. :)
I don't think that here really is any reasonably reachable limit. You can run multiple hard drives on the same machine. The most I have seen is 4 2TB hard drives. That's 8TB total HDD. Which is insanely crazy and will never be used up no matter what you have. You would need to download over 1 million songs to fill that up.
