A Canon 430EX is a flashgun attachment which is compatible with Canon cameras. It is available to purchase at Curry's, Amazon, Wex Photographic, and is also advertised on eBay.
There are many different online websites that sell affordable Canon 430ex Speedlite Flash. Some of these websites include Amazon, eBay, B & H Photo Video, and on the Canon website.
Yes, it is. :-)
A recommended flash for the Canon T3i is the Canon 430EX II. This flash is about $270. However, honestly, any Canon flash will work well with the camera.
The key differences between the Canon 600EX-RT and the 430EX II speedlite flashes are the power output, wireless capabilities, and advanced features. The 600EX-RT has higher power output, built-in wireless radio transmission, and more advanced features like multiple flash control and custom functions compared to the 430EX II.
The Canon Speedlite 430EX III-RT manual provides information on how to use and operate the flash unit, including settings, features, and troubleshooting tips. It also includes instructions on how to set up the flash for different shooting scenarios and how to achieve various lighting effects.
I used a Sto-Fen Omni Bounce on my 430EX flash unit that works very well.
The 430EX external flash seems like it would be the best candidate for the external flash for the Canon digital camera.
Some of the best external flash options for a Canon Rebel XSi are the Canon Speedlite 430EX III-RT, Yongnuo YN560 IV, and Neewer NW-670. These flashes offer good performance and compatibility with the camera.
Absolutely. The 430EX was designed to be a cheaper speedlight option for Canon SLR users. It was especially designed to work with the 5D which doesn't have a built in flash. If you buy a 430EX it'll interact with your 30D, 350D or similar EOS SLR to help with white balance and focusing as well as giving you more professional looking flash photos. The flashgun will read the zoom length of your lens, how far it's been zoomed and other info from the camera and automatically adjust it's power and throw to provide the right flash angle and strength for each photo.
Some of the best external flash options compatible with the Canon Rebel T100 are the Canon Speedlite 430EX III-RT, Yongnuo YN560 IV, and Neewer NW-670. These flashes offer good performance and compatibility with the camera.
It's not a good idea to use a flash unit designed for a film camera with a DSLR because the camera hotshoe or cable link could damage the electronics of your Canon 350D. You would be better off using Canon's own Speedlite 430EX or the Sony F32X, although the latter has a notoriously slow recycling speed. Both flashguns were designed for use on DSLRs.
I don't know how long ago you asked this question, but the 540EZ is VERY old. It's pretty much obsolete now. Go for the 430EX or the 580EX. They're a decent price, and work very well. If you want more power out of it, the 580EX Mk II is your best bet. ;)
