Nothing. We go by the Hebrew calendar.
the person wants to study with that person, who doesn't know that??
Whether or not ANY person will go to hell depends on what denomination of Christianity they follow. Jewish people do not believe in hell, so the Jewish answer is no.
Today, if you were caught harboring a Jewish person, nothing would happen. In WWII, however, you would be forced to go to a concentration camp and would probably die alongside the Jewish person you were harboring.
In order for a person to convert to Judaism, a person needs to undergo a formal conversion solicited by the convert-to-be (as proselytization is forbidden). The process of conversion can take from 1 to 6 years of study with a rabbi or other Jewish scholar to learn the faith. He must then go before the Beit Din (Jewish religious court), going to mikvah (a ritual bath for spiritual purification), and circumcision for men. Once someone converts they are AS Jewish as anyone born to a Jewish mother.
The Jewish person cannot adopt the religion but needs to go through a program to become Catholic called the Rite of Christian Initiiation. However, the Jewish person is always welcome to attend Mass but cannot receive communion.
Go to a religious person. Ask one that comes to your door. Go to your church.
It is the center of Jewish life outside of Israel. Jews go to a synagogue to study, pray, and socialize with other Jews.
A Cohen has no need to go to The Vatican. A Cohen serves a place in Judaism, while The Vatican is the headquarters to the Roman Catholic Church. What need would a Jewish person have at The Vatican?
