Crickets (and other insects) do not have ears. They have a membrane on the exoskeleton on each side of the head equivalent to an eardrum.
A cricket's ears are found on their LEGS I know it sounds weird but they are.

A cricket's ears are found directly below the knee of its front legs. If you look closely you will see a pale spot that is the ear drum. the ear consists of openings in the exoskeleton that lead to the inside of the cricket's legs.
