Mice are quite small. they could easily crawl into a toaster oven (or fall in) without a scratch. A full grown adult mouse has a skeleton that allows them to fit in cracks as small as 1/4 of an inch. Most toaster ovens have many openings about this size and if not cleaned regularly the mouse will enter it to find food
Large does not tell us much. However the rating will be printed somewhere on the appliance.
Toaster ovens are a handy and compact modernized appliance that allows a person to cook with ease of use and unlimited potential. Eventually your toaster oven will need a good cleaning; follow these steps to keep it running in peak condition. ▪ Step 1: Unplug the toaster oven from the electrical source. This should go without being said but to be sure, never clean a toaster oven while it is still plugged in to an outlet. ▪ Step 2: Remove the crumb pan. Most, if not all, toaster ovens have a removable crumb pan. Remove this pan by either unlatching the door at the back of the toaster oven or on some models it can simply be removed from the front door. Consider holding the toaster oven over a garbage can or the sink or you will face cleaning up a pile of crumbs of the counter. ▪ Step 3: Clean the crumb pan. If discarding the crumbs off the pan reveals baked on food, you can soak this pan in the sink. After soaking you should be able to wash the pan with dish soap and cloth. For extra hard messes, use an abrasive cleaner and synthetic scrubbing pad. ▪ Step 4: Clean the toaster oven rack. Remove the rack from the toaster oven and clean in the sink in the same way as the crumb pan. Allow the rack to soak for baked on food. ▪ Step 5: Clean the interior of the toaster oven. Spray a degreaser onto the interior glass door and walls of the toaster oven and allow the degreaser to sit for the allotted time. If the interior walls needs to be scrubbed use a non-abrasive synthetic brush. Wipe the interior of the oven with a warm damp cloth to remove all of the degreaser. Avoid getting degreaser on or tamper with the elements, doing so could result in a fire when it’s turned on. ▪ Step 6: Clean the exterior of the toaster oven. Use a non-abrasive cleaner with a soft cloth to avoid scratching the surface. If your toaster oven is stainless steel, use a stainless steel cleaner to give the appliance a sparkling shine. A toaster oven will never replace a full-size oven nevertheless the ability to cook with a smaller appliance is most favorable. Cleaning your toaster oven appliance doesn’t need to be done often. A thorough clean to your toaster oven will keep it free from smoking and gleaming when your guests stop by for dinner.

By the nature of the fact that it is a bread, it can be sliced and placed in a slot toaster, or simply shortened (if necessary) to fit into a toaster-oven to be toasted. In essance, any bread that can be cut into the required shape can be put into a toaster given that it fits the input shape or size of that toaster.
Perhaps the most common kitchen appliance is a device for toasting, either in the form of a pop-up toaster or a toaster oven. A pop-up toaster has only one function, whereas a toaster oven has several. For that reason, you may opt for the toaster oven as giving you more bang for the buck. Once you’ve made the toaster oven decision, you’ll need to choose from a variety of models. Cost can vary widely depending on size and features. First, decide how large an oven you need. Will you want to toast 6 slices of bread simultaneously, or will 4 do? Will you need an oven large enough to roast a chicken? While you will want to choose an oven big enough for what you need, an oven that is larger than required will take up more counter space and use more energy than necessary. Next, decide on how you’ll be using your oven. Some ovens come with convection fans. This allows for quicker roasting and baking. However, if you’ll be using your oven primarily for toasting and broiling, you might not want to pay the price difference. Before purchasing a toaster oven, research several different models. Depending on who will be using the oven, and where it will be used, some models may pose safety issues. Some ovens have casings that become quite hot when in use. They may have to be moved slightly away from a wall when being used. Since many toaster ovens are used for convenience by senior citizens, or used as a beginning cooking tool by older children, models with hotter than average casings or windows might be of concern in those instances. Some toaster ovens have trays that automatically extend when the door is open. They may be safer choices than ones that do not. Once you’ve decided on a toaster oven, be sure to make the most of this versatile appliance. Unlike a microwave oven, it can bake a personal pizza or a small batch of cookies. It can broil a steak, or roast a small piece of meat. It keeps your kitchen cooler and uses less energy than using a conventional oven.
