Made for Sears Roebuck. Same gun as the Savage Model 6 or Stevens Model 87. Savage made these from 1938 to 1968.
POSSIBLY a Savage Model 29. Several companies made firearms under the Ranger name- Sears being one of the more prolific.
the ranger Mod 35 was made by savage mod 52B 1933-1937
About 250 for an early savage 22 pump ranger, but dont bother looking for info, theres none on the web.
savage has this info on the savage gun collectors site, google it.

The rifle you have was made by savage .Not much info out there on them but it is a model 29 savage if the stock is checkerd And a model 25 if not. I have one in my shop at this time that I'm working on They are a nice little gun . Joe
