You would need the original torrent file to reseed a torrent. Old torrent files may still be kept by your torrent client. There is no way to find the torrent file from the directory contents though. If you know which torrents you have downloaded, you can download the torrent files again and reseed that way. Or you can create new torrent files and submit these to torrent site. (note: most torrent sites only accept magnet links these days)
The word torrents is a noun. It is the plural form of torrent.
Torrent based downloads is simply a delivery system...u can use it for legal & illegal purposes. lots of legal software is downloaded using the bit-torrent protocol. I believe Nero allows downloading their software via torrents legally. the torrents are on their NERO site as an alternative.

To find torrent history on your computer, you can start by checking the download folder where torrents are typically saved. You can also search for specific torrent client files or search for "*.torrent" in the file explorer. Additionally, some torrent clients maintain a log file of downloaded torrents, which you can locate by navigating to the preferences or settings section of the client.
To fix inactive torrents, try restarting your torrent client, checking your internet connection, ensuring the tracker is online, and making sure the torrent file is not corrupted. Additionally, try updating the torrent client and adjusting the firewall settings to allow the client to connect to peers.
