Hello, the cheapest I have found for eye exams as well as glasses is at America's Best. If you don't have one where you are though, check at Walmart. Costco and Sears also have eye exams available. Usually the eye exam is a quick process. I have never had to wait more then a day to get one. If you have to get glasses though it usually takes a few days to get them. Good Luck!

Is it the mantoux or the hepatitis vaccine that must be offered free of charge for all employees?

If an employer requires a mantoux, they usually pay for that. Those employers may also offer the Hep-b vaccine free of charge. It's not required that they pay for it, but places that I have worked for that have offered the hep-b vaccine do so for free. Ask your HR person.

What is true about hepatitis b and a?

They are sometimes caused by a virus. They can be prevented with a vaccine. Hep A and B can cause swelling or inflammation, and possible damage, to the liver. Hepat= liver itis= swelling, inflammation Thus: hepatitis= swelling or inflammation of the liver. There is also Hep C which is very hard and in some cases impossible to cure, and Hep C has no vaccine. Fortunately it is more rare to contract Hep C (mostly IV drug users or unprotected anal sex).
