You cannot delete the factory installed text messaging app that comes with your phone. You can however, download an alternate free messaging app from the Google Play Store. Then you can set it as the default application to launch when you receive new text messages.

Buy an Ipod touch, as long as you have internet connection you just have to download an app for free. Or you could send a text message to people on Yahoo Messenger
just go to app store and type in free text and then there will be an app where it says freetext and you just download it.
No, Iphone does not have BBM but it does have some other apps that can be used for free messaging like text free etc.

If it's an iPhone, yes, you can text in messages. If you have an iPod touch, you can download an app that enables you to text. There are free ones out there that are just as good as ones you have to pay for, so I reccommend looking for one! Any other iPod cannot text from what I know.
On an iPod Touch there is a text messaging app that I'm sure you're aware of known as SMS messaging. There is one now for multi-media messaging I believe it is called MMS. Try looking it up. I'm not sure if it is a free app though.
download ping lite, a free app from the itunes store
No, the messaging app comes free with iOS 5.0

There is no native app that does this, but you can download third party apps such as Fake Text Free on the App Store to do this.
