One can find an Omega Seamaster Chronograph on the official website "OMEGA Watches" in the category "Seamaster". They are also available on websites like "Chrono 24" or "Swiss Luxury".
One can purchase an Omega Seamaster Watch direct from the Omega official website. Alternatively, any good watch retailer will sell this item if you can't purchase it online.
One can purchase an automatic chronograph from good jewellers and watch shops. There are several makes including Tag Heuer, Baume and Mercier, Omega and Tissot.
I would check the Omega store search website: http://www.omegawatches.com/stores/map. That way you could see one in person. If there isn't one near you, I would suggest sites such as Amazon and EBay where you can see multiple views of the product.
First check out their website at www.omegawatches.com/gents/Sea Master/planet-ocean. This will give you more information about their products and enable you to buy online or go visit one of their listed retailers.
An h&m brand jacket. I managed to track one down.
In season 8 of NCIS, when this question was originally asked, Gibbs wore an OMEGA PLOPROF Seamaster. The Omega Seamaster PloProf has a very distinctive (some say "funky") case with a fully enclosed crown. It's a chronometer (not chronograph) and the currently produced version, released in 2009, is rated to 1200 meters. The PloProf was the first watch by any manufacturer which was specifically designed for professional divers. The original PloProf (from the French "PLOngeur PROFessionnel" meaning Professional Diver) was designed by Omega in cooperation with early professional diving company Comex and Jacques Cousteau. It was released in 1970 and was rated to 600 meters. In more recent episodes, including the last cemetery scene in season 9, episode 9 "Engaged, Part 2", Gibbs wears an orange-bezel stainless steel Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Cronograph (Omega model number 232.30.46.51.01.002). This watch uses an Omega Calibre 9300 movement with two subdials including a small second hand. Omega also currently makes a very similar looking Planet Ocean Seamaster (Omega model number 2218.50.00) with three subdials rather than two and the date at the 4:30 position rather than 6 o'clock. This one uses an Omega Calibre 3313 movement. The watch in season 9, episode 9 is clearly the 232.30... version however. Both watches are chronographs and are rated to 600 meters. One does wonder how someone on an NCIS senior agent salary affords a watch that generally sells for between six and seven thousand dollars. Then again, he doesn't spend much on anything else. The PloProf is worth about a thousand dollars more still than the Planet Ocean chronographs. If the character is supposed to have collected both watches, you have to think he really likes Omegas. More likely Mark Harmon is fond of them, or the Swatch folks who import Omega into the US are hard at work on product placement.
Top Jewelers, Authentic Watches, and Omega Constellation's website are some of the online stores where Omega Constellation watches can be found online.
To reset a Seiko chronograph to the 12 o'clock position, you typically need to press and hold the buttons on the watch to reset the chronograph hands to the 12 o'clock position. Refer to the watch's manual for specific instructions on resetting the chronograph hands on your particular model of Seiko chronograph.
One can purchase a Seiko chronograph watch at Hodinkee or at Ebay. If one requires a vintage watch, one could check second hand shops and antique stores locally.
Well, it's a type of watch, a very specific kind- a chronograph is well known, that's push a button, and you time something like a stopwatch. With a normal chronograph, you have to push another button to stop the chronograph hand, and to reset it to the "0" position (normally 12 oclock). A monopusher chronograph is a bit more mechanically interesting- it uses only one button "pusher" to do everything- push to start the chronograph, push the same button to stop it, and the same one last third time to reset to the "0" position. You wouldn't know one normally, unless you noticed the words "chronograph" on the watch dial, and saw only one pusher on the side of the watch. Basically, they are rare, and being a complication, make the watches that have them very expensive.
It is a watch that has an alarm and a stopwatch all in one
Omega is a Swiss company that has been selling timepieces since 1848. A database of vintage watches can be found on the company's own Omega Watches website.
