Where can one find information on the average height of female models?
There are different sites online to find the average height of female models. There have been many studies that compare height to weight and height to a variety of different things.
There is no exact number to answer this question since there is no information as to how many female models there are total. However, a good majority of models fall within the 5'11" - 6'0" range, since this is the most desired height range according to modeling agencies. But being taller than 6'0" for female models is not what agencies want, although there are exceptions to the rule.
Model heights and weights do vary, but for the most part, the models are in the height range of 5'8'' to 5'10''. Weight is a bit more tricky, but anywhere from 105-120 seems to be the average weight for these models. You can see the related link below for more detailed information on specific Victoria's Secret models.

Agencies ask that female models are no less that 5'11 and males, nothing under 6'0. If you are, you can be disadvantaged. Your average healthy female model could range anywhere between 45-60 kilograms (usually in the height bracket of 5'8 or above). It really depends on other proportions in measurement. Measurements of proportions are also important. For example, Bust, Waist, and Hips. These are measured before a model can be accepted into an agency.
As a cabinet maker during the time I built cabinets the most common height of a refrigerator was 67 to 68 inches (~1700mm) tall. Refrigerators vary widely in heights depending on their capacity and purpose. Domestic refrigerators (designed for home use) come in heights ranging from in-cupboard models of less than 500mm high, under-bench models of up to 900mm high and models ranging from 1200-1900mm in height.
The average height for a commercial model is 5'9 and the weight is anywhere between 110-135. The average height for a runway model is anywhere between 5'9 - 5'10 and the weight is anywhere between 110-130. The average height for a high fashion model is between 5'10 - 5'11 and the weight is anywhere between 105-130. But remember you should be comfortable with your body about 75% of models are anerexic and mean!
In countries like India, they prefer for their female models to be at least 5'8" and male models to be a minimum of 5'11". There are exceptions to the rule but in general 5'7" would be too short for a female model to be considered by an agency unless she had an amazing look that the agency feels can't be passed up.
According to agency standards, female fashion models should be between 5'8" and 6'0" and for male fashion models, they should be between 5'11"-6'2". Some agencies are increasing the height for male models in certain markets to 6'3" and even 6'4" but this hasn't become the norm yet for the industry overall.
At age 12 you can do teen modeling, which has a flexible height requirement. At 5'4" at age 12 an agency that represents teen models would more than likely sign you, in addition to having a marketable look of course. From 13-14 and up the height requirements kick in. For commercial/print the height range for women is 5'5"-5'7" and for female fashion/runway models you have to be 5'8"-6'0".
It depends on your age and gender. For a fully grown female adult anything 5'7 and above. For a fully grown male then 5'10 and above. ~Answered by unknown Don't worry though if you are 5'7 or taller. If you're a girl. That's not tall. I think that's actually a very good height to be. Or 5'8 too. 5'7 and 5'8 aren't very tall. I think they're about average. Because guys nowadays are taller. If…
This depends on what kind of modeling you want to do. Fashion/editorial/runway models are required to be between 5'8"-6'0" for females and 5'10"-6'2" for males. Commercial/print models should be between 5'5"-5'7" for females and 5'9"-6'2" for males. Plus size models have the same height requirements as fashion/editorial/runway models, while petite models tent to fall between 5'0"-5'7" range. Critics in the industry regard any female model under 5'7" as "petite."
