If the phones are from the same service provider then the sim cards will work in either phone. (i.e. Both phones were purchased from T-Mobile)
The best Verizon Smartphone has been the Samsung SCH-i760. Unfortunately, this device has been discontinued. In my opinion, there has been nothing released that replaces the SCH-i760. Keep your eyes on the Blackberry Storm. It's RIM's product to compete with the iPhone and G1. Other good options include the Droid2/Droid X and the LG Ally.
Yes, it does: Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/mobile/mobile-phones/verizon-wireless-phones/SCH-I760ZKAVZW/index.idx?pagetype=prd_detail&tab=features
The Samsung i900 smartphone was first released in 2008, initially in Asia and later in Europe and through Verizon in the US in December of 2008 and in Canada through Telus Mobility in April of 2009. The Samsung i900 is no longer available via Samsung or the normal phone shop channels but you can still purchase the phone online via Amazon, Ebay, PrePayMania and refurb-phone.
