One can get a new Caravan Window by going to the company that made the caravan and asking them whether they will either fix a new caravan window, or whether they will just provide the part. One can also go to an online site such as eBay Motors, and Auto Parts Warehouse.
a engin and a window idiot
There is only one fuse for all power windows. If only the passenger side window does not work, the problem is either with the passenger window switch or the motor on that window.
take the old one off and installed the new one in reverse of how you took the old one off.
A new one will cost plenty. The best place to get one is at your local auto salvage yard. There you will pay about 50% of what a new one will cost. The price will vary of course from yard to yard.
on the passenger side there is a fuse cover on the floor, take off the panel and look at the back, find power window fuse, take it out, replace with new one
If you do not see one above the door window it does not have one.
That depends on how much you want to spend. A new window can be quite expensive, but a USED window can be relatively inexpensive and in general, a good way of repairing a problem. Glass doesn't typically "wear out", so a used side window will function as well as a much more expensive new one. I recently purchased a 1994 Saturn drivers side rear window for $35. It functions as well as a new one and after it has been installed, it's virtually impossible to tell the difference between new and used.
The most common problem with Cabrio auto windows is the Window regulator. Each window has it's own. My wife also owns a 2002 Cabrio, that had a mis-behaving window driver window and the passenger was locked in the up position. After inspecting the drivers window, I found one of the cable roller guides was broken, causing the cable to snag when using the window open / close, and resulting in the window seeming to have a mind of it's own. I had a local garage order the regulator for me, and then I disassembled the drivers door and installed the new regulator (problem is now solved). The passenger window was bound up, I also had to remove the regulator and let loose the tension in the cable system by carefully removing the cover over the cable roller. This window works fine now as well.
Buy a new motor and regulator and install them. It took me about 2 hours to do and I bought the new one at 1a Atomtive online for $54.00.
Sure wish there was an answer to this one.
Buy a new one.
Pop the whole thing up and disconnect wires then take the part off and put the new one in reconnect wires
