From what I know, they probably do not because snow tires have special pins build into it for gripping the snow/ice. It depends on the type of tire you are actually going to buy but generally mud tires are more expensive than snow tires.

AT = all terrain. MS = mud and snow. The MS tires should be more aggressive.
The medalist mud king tires are an excellent tire for on and off road driving... I got a used set of 33 for my mud truck and they were just about bald and they still perform good... Medalist no longer makes tires they were a branch of michelin... I have herd that there weak point is the sidewalls with only 2 ply but i never had any problem with them....
