3/5 probability of a white ball being drawn.
, on the table at the start of a match there are 21 balls on the table, and 22 including the cue ball (white ball). This includes 8 different coloured balls - white, red, yellow, green, brown, blue, pink and black. Altogether their are 22 reds and 1 of each of the others (white, yellow, green, brown, blue, pink, black). So altogether, their are 8 different coloured balls in snooker including the cue ball, and 7 not including the cue ball. I hope this helps.
There are 18 Green balls and 12 Blue balls. You have to pick 2 blue balls, so the green balls don't matter. You can pick 1 blue ball on 12 ways. The second ball you can pick on 11 ways (because there are 11 balls left). 12 * 11 = 132. So you can pick it on 132 ways. ;)
The question cannot be answered because it is incomplete and a complete version cannot be found.
If the balls are selected at random, then the probability is 12/95.
The planet Earth as seen from outer space is a blue and white ball.
How many balls on a snooker table? 22(one white cue ball, 15 red balls, and six balls of different colours: yellow, green, brown, blue, pink and black)

White ADD: Again a basic answer that is technically incorrect. The cue ball just needs to be identifiable from the other balls. The cue ball is the ball that you strike with your cue stick. In many games the cue ball will change during the game. Also, with the advent of "larger" cue balls in coin operated tables at pubs, many players will use one of the like sized and weighted balls from the playing set rather than the white cue ball.
22 (including the cueball) 15 Red (1 point/ea) 1 Yellow (2 points) 1 Green (3 points) 1 Brown (4 points) 1 Blue (5 points) 1 Pink (6 points) 1 Black (7 points)
