Clean the concrete very well. Make a small wooden frame around the hand print (1 ft sq) should be big enough. Spray the concrete with non-stick frying pan spray (or other release agent). Mix plaster or mortar and pour into frame. Let set. Lift off hardened material and remove frame. This can be used as a "negative" to make other prints.
Does Fender make a guitar neck with Brazilian rosewood?
Fender Guitar Co. did make Stratocasters, Telecasters and other models in their line which had a Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard laminated to a Maple neck. Later necks were fitted with Indian Rosewood, which can be lighter, less dark chocolate in overall color, and has a characteristic open grain structure at the surface. Modern, high end Custom Shop examples claim to be available in limited editions with 'Brazilian Rosewood' but whether it is true Dalbergia Nigra, or a similar looking species from Madagascar, rather than Brazil is difficult to determine. Due to it's scarcity, it is unlikely that all the examples of quartersawn, straight grained Brazilian Rosewood that have been turning up are genuine. Dalbergia Nigra has close relatives not on the endangered list, which look and act identically to Brazilian Rosewood. Tree species experts have a hard time determining one from the other in the lab. *If you travel, be aware that Customs Agents worldwide are able to seize anything they care to identify as being on the endangered list: Brazilian Rosewood, Ivory, Abalone & etc., and proving your particular case to be otherwise is nearly impossible on the spot. Are washburn guitars good?
I own a Wasburn Dime V. I can honestly say that these guitars are not that bad. They have a good build, but the pick-ups tend to burnout quickly. I put EMG's in it and its sounds great. My advice would be to try one out and see how it feels.
