I'm sorry, the 16 valve head will not work on the 8 valve short block. The piston crowns are cut differently so replacement of pistons would be necessary. It is my understanding though, that it COULD be done if the pistons were replaced. I have never attempted this, but by looking through the parts catalog, it seems that this is feasable.
It is ablood vessel that yransports oxygenated blood from the left ventricle to the aorta.
The answer is the right chamberThe Right Atrium, receives "used blood" from the body. Blood will be pushed through the tricuspid valve to theRight Ventricle, the chamber which will pump to the lungs through the pulmonic valve to thePulmonary Arteries, providing blood to both lungs. Blood is circulated through the lungs where carbon dioxide is removed and oxygen added. It returns through thePulmonary Veins, which empty into theLeft Atrium, a chamber which will push the Mitral Valve open. Blood then passes into theLeft Ventricle. Although it doesn't always look like it in drawings done from this angle, this is the largest and most important chamber in the heart. It pumps to the rest of the body. As it pumps, the pressure will close the mitral valve and open the aortic valve, with blood passing through to theAorta, where it will be delivered to the rest of the body.
This is a procedure done to restore the valves and valve seats. This is done typically when having a head(s) reconditioned.
Aortoplasty is a general term for surgical repair of the aorta. That depends on the type of repair that is being performed, it can be called "Endovascular aortic aneurysm repair" when it is a surgical procedure to repair an aortic aneurysm done through the major blood vessels of the body. Depending on the procedure used and the problem being repaired different techniques may be used such as: Patching, used when there are tears in the valve, fixed through surgical insertion of a tissue patch. Commissurotomy, which is when the valve is narrowed, an incision of a commissure into the valve is used to fix the problem. Reshaping, used to reshape the valve so that it can close properly. Valvuloplasty, used to increase opening of valve and improve blood flow when the valve has become rigid with calcium buildup. This is done through the insertion of a balloon catheter. Decalcification, used when there is a calcium build up, removes excess calcium so that valve can function properly.
