They should be fine. However, if someone can hear it outside of your headphones, then you can harm the headphones bass by over stretching and harm your ears.

All headphones have bass, it's just a matter of how much, as for the Bose, they don't have as much as Beats of course, but they are better than your average iPhone headphones. They are somewhere in that range, I invite someone who knows better to improve this answer
The best stereo headphones on the market at the moment would be the Bose range. They have all different styles, shapes and colors. The only problem is that they can be a little expensive so its best to shop around.

The Bose Qc15 have more NATURAL bass. The Beats have LOUDER bass. It all depends on which one you want. Neither of them are considered 'Studio Monitor' headphones. For that, look for headphones from AKG, Audio-Technica, Beyerdynamic, Shure, Fostex or KRK.
Studios have better bass but pro's have better clarity.
