How is music produced?
In order to make any type of specific music you have to use the correct samples. Dubturbo 2.0 comes with several thousand samples, meaning that you can make most any type of music you want with just those samples. However, if you want to make dubstep beats then you need to use dubstep sounding samples. For instance, I did a quick search on Google for "wobble bass samples" and found some affordable sample kits. Just make sure to buy the .WAV file format and then you can easily import those samples into DUBturbo (the Windows version only). You can of course adjust the BPM to a much higher rate for the dubstep type beats and add drops into your songs too. For one bar hold shift key and click the bar. For copying and pasting multiple bars hold down shift key on a bar and highlight it the press control while clicking on multiple bars. Now drag and all higlighted can be copied and pasted.

Audacity but not really "beat making" software. When you use audacity you can't make your own beats but instead you can only use it to do sampling. If you want to make beats better use a software like Fl studio or DubTurbo. Both are good software to make beats.

Dub turbo is a good software to make beats and other kinds of electronic software. the main reason why I'm currently using the software is that I find it easy, less complex and very simple. Moreover, it comes with free training videos and demos to get you started ;D More demos are also available on youtube. Unlike other software, dub turbo is easy to navigate and understand. You don't need to buy a real midi keyboard nor a brand new mpc since the dubturbo already has a virtual midi and 10 pad drum machine....just use your keyboard.
