I called Ray Ban to inquire and they informed me that he was not a Ray Ban customer at any time in his life. I also asked the folks who run the official Roy Orbison fan website and they told me that Roy had his glasses frames custom made. ( but his glasses where basicaly the exact same as wayfarers so it realy makes no difference)Another spoiler...They are nothing like Ray Ban Wayfarers!Roy, Buddy, and Waylon, all had different versions of the same style of frame. The closest thing you can find today are Victory Optical "Suntimers"!They just re-issued 'em.
