by cheap i mean around $200 which is relatively cheap for a violin and they are good quality at southwest strings. Anything less than that at any other place will probably be bad quality.
I bought my vioin for around $100 and Vivace Music Store and the quality is quite good. I used it for 3 years now, and it's still in very good shape.
