There are lots of companies that specialize in essential oils and other "smelly" substances that can be used in making perfume. Assuming you're not going to be doing this on an industrial scale, a good place to start would be drug stores and hobby stores for some of the more common aromas. You're also going to need a solvent; for most perfumes this is a mixture of ethanol and water (and just enough other stuff to avoid paying the beverage tax on the ethanol). The drug store or hobby store may also sell SD alcohol for this purpose, or at least know where you could get some.

You can buy a Hadley perfume at Abercrombie & Fitch. Also, you can buy it online and finally, if you are perhaps desperate to get one but too expensive for what you can afford, you can get them on ebay or amazon but you do have to trust the seller before buying the product. So try looking at the seller's review before making the complete purchase.

The evaporation of perfume is a physical change. The chemical constitution of the perfume has not changed, it is still exactly the same chemical, but it has changed from a liquid phase to a gas phase.
