Target appears to have replaced the Cherokee brand with Merona. Shop carefully, though, the Merona t-shirts are *not* the same as the Cherokees. (This is a total guess, but I bet Target is jettisoning a brand name that is offensive to some Native Americans.)
The Merona brand is inferior to the Cherokee Ultimate T-shirt. The Cherokee Ultimate T was a excellent made item. I did purchase the Merona brand and find it thin (see through) and it shrunk after washing in cold water. I will not purchase a Merona brand item from Target again.
