The HyVee on 180th and Q sells the Vienna Poppy Seed Buns along with the relish and the Giardiniera. They also sell Vienna Italian Beef in the 2 pound tub frozen. The only thing is, it is hard to find a good Italian Roll that can hold the beef and juice without falling apart here. I know about Vienna Hot Dogs because I grew up working for a stand in Chicago, for my cousin. It was the best job ever!
Also, Rotella's makes the poppy seed buns for Sonic, so if you go into their "day old" bread store, they sell them.
There are a couple of places where you can find poppy seed hot dog buns in the Twin Cities area. Cecil's Deli in Saint Paul has them, and Costco and Kowalski's have both been known to carry them as well.
You can buy poppy seed hot dog buns in Saint Louis at the Sam's Club if you have a membership. You can sometimes purchase these buns at Walmart stores as well.
