6 spark plugs
Is this a trick question ( as far as I know the last model year of the Ford Windstar was 2003 )
Does a 2003 ford expedition have spark plugs?
The gap is .052-.056 inches.
No, it is not necessary to change the spark plugs on your 2003 Ford Winstar at 30,000 miles. It has Platinum Plugs from the factory and they have a life span of approximately 100,000 miles. I suggest checking the gap and cleaning them at 50-60M miles, but not replacing until around 100K.

Yes, absolutely!See "Related Questions" below for much more about changing Windstar plugs and wires
Check the Vehicle Emission Control Information ( VECI ) decal located in the front of the engine compartment ( it will show what type of spark plugs to use and the spark plug gap )
Do you mean re-gap the plugs? Get a spark plug gapper, and set the gap to between .052-.056.
According to the Autozone website : For a 1995 Ford Windstar , 3.8 L V6 engine : The spark plug tightening torque is ( 7 to 15 foot pounds )
