Sunkern can be found rarely in the northern portion ofRoute 204 (north of Ravaged Path) but only with a Poke Radar.
Route 204 is the route between Floaroma Town and Jubilife City. The northern portion requires Rock Smash and the Coal Badge by extension.
The Poke Radar can be obtained by seeing every Pokemon in the Sinnoh Dex and talking to Professor Rowan, who will then upgrade your Dex into a National Dex and give you a Poke Radar.
