You use Crayola Model Magic modeling material and just shape it to be Scylla.
Crayons are made of wax. Wax melts in heat. That's your answer.
Off the top of my head, Crayola Model Magic seems to have a similar look, but I'm not a baker.
Buy some Crayola Model Magic and make a 3D model. After looking at photos of a koala bear or a wallaby (Discoveryschool.com) paint the model with craft paint and let dry.

I just had that theme at my sister's shower! I found a lot of stuff at Michael's and AC Moore. Additionally, I made cake toppers from Crayola's model magic - bear, elephant, zebra, etc. Everyone loved them. Everyone got a refrigerator magnet made out of the same material too!
