The outside mirror is held on by two retaining bolts and a wiring harness. Remove the inside door panel to view the mirror retaining bolts. After removing the retaining bolts and wiring harness reverse the process to install the new mirror.
The mirror cover can be removed by removing the mirror cover retaining bolts. You can access the retaining bolts by removing the inside door panel.
undo the 2 bolts then fit your new mirror and tighten the 2 bolts u fecking numpty!
You have to unbolt the crossmember and lower the tail of the transmission down some, and use very long extensions and a swivel, or swivel socket to reach from near the sides of the transmission case up to the top 2 bolts.
First remove the door panel.Once the door panel is removed you will see three bolts that hold the mirror in place. While holding the mirror remove the three bolts and the mirror will come off of the door.
you need to remove the door panel on the inside of the car and at the top of the door by the mirror you will see 2 bolts holding the mirror onto the door remove those bolts and the mirror will come off.
You will need to remove the door panel of your 1997 Chevrolet Corvette. When the door panel is removed the mirror retaining bolts will be visible. Tighten the mirror retaining bolts.
Remove the inside door panel. Remove the wiring harness from the mirror. Remove the mirror retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new mirror.
THERE IS A PANEL ON THE INSIDE OF THE DOOR RIGHT BEHIND WERE THE DOOR MIRROR IS. TAKE THAT OFF AND UNSCREW THE BOLTS AND TAKE OUT THE MIRROR
pull door skin to access the electrical connection, disconnect remove black triangle plastic cover on door behind mirror bolts remove 3 nuts from bolts pull mirror off
Remove the door panel and the mirror is held on with bolts.
Remove the front door sail panel. There you will see 3 bolts holding the side view mirror. Remove bolts, replace / or fix side view mirror. Installation is the reverse of removal.
