their are no people who give you eggs in the game, but you can breed pokemon in the daycare center on route 3. get 2 pokemon ( male and female ) that are in the same egg group. you can check a pokemon's egg group and the pokemon it is compatible with on serebii.net. but both of them in the daycare.
- when it says: "the two get along very well!" there is a 70% chance of getting an egg every 256 steps.
- when it says: "the two seem to get along" there is a 50% chance of getting an egg every 256 steps.
- when it says: "the two don't seem to like each other" there is a 20% chance of getting an egg every 256 steps.
once you get one there is an egg cycle. every 255 steps you take equals 1 cycle. you need to get the egg cycle to 0 so it can hacth. the pokemon in the egg with be the lowest evolution of the female. good luck!
