here is a diagram
there are four coils on rear valve cover each one runs 2 cylinders. auto parts stores can tell you the firing order, im not sure
where are the coil wires located, and where do they hook up
remove the upper intake then lower. might change plugs and wires as well
You have to take coil packs off and then they are easier to get to. You will see the wires going to the plugs.
Basicaly you hook up the wires as such. The two middle cylinders will share a coil and the two outside cylinders will share the other coil. It really doesen't matter what teminal the wires attach as long as they are hooked up like this.
A coil of wires wrapped around a core is an electromagnet.
The ignition coil wire diagram can be found on Mustangs And Fords website (link to diagram below).
im assuming your looking for hot wires on the coil. They should be two wires of the coil
the coil is behind the motor
Diagram can be found in the proper Haynes manual, available at most auto parts stores. Coil paks may also be numbered for easy identification.
I can't imagine why you would need a diagram, there are only about four wires in the VW bug engine compartment, coil, and generator.(if it's not a bug I am not sure)
You cannot test it with a diagram. You will need a multimeter to test the coil. Click the link.
The left coil wires go to 1 and 4 the the right coil wires go to 2 and 3.
yes front coil springs with front shocks on a 1987 cadillac brougham rear wheel drive
It does not have a distributor or plug wires, there is a coil over each spark plug.It is called a coil on plug system. It does not have a distributor or plug wires, there is a coil over each spark plug.It is called a coil on plug system.
The coil is held in place by a bracket that is bolted to the head. First remove the coil wire, then remove the two small nuts holding the two small wires. Notice the small wires will only fit one way so you can't mix them up. Then unbolt the bracket from the head, then loosen the screw clamping the bracket to the coil, then slip coil out of bracket. Position the new coil in the same manor as the old one.
If you will look at the coil pack it may have numbers on it designating which plug each of the wires should go to. Sorry, that's the most I can help.
the wires can only hook up to one place there are two wires but they both go on top of coil but they have different plugs so therefore can only go to one place
Bad coil or wire.
i have a diagram for the car coil fence
There is none. The coil is inside the distributor.
look at the coil, it is marked - or +
Note: Cyls Compresion is perfect, sparks, spark plugs, ignition coil, all is fine You have an ignition coil at rear of plenum. trace wires back to it...it is bad! Replace it and you should be fine!
most likely ,you just need to reolace the coil
