Talk to the company that made the gun. See if they have replacement parts on hand.
I suggest you take the gun to a gun shop to have it identified. JC Higgins is just a brand name used by Sears. The guns and rifles were made by Mossberg, Savage, Remington and other gun companies. They put the JC Higgins name on the guns for Sears to sell. A good Gun shop will recognize who made the gun.
In excellent condition, about 100 dollars.

I typically would have that, but I am out of stock. Go to www.e-gunparts.com and order their item #415250. The JC Higgins Model 41 is the same as the Marlin 101G. sales@countrygunsmith.net

That shotgun was made for Sears by Savage/Stevens and is basically the Stevens 59A bolt-action. Remove the takedown screw from the bottom of the stock and separate the metal from the wood. Remove the bolt stop screw from the left side of the receiver and remove the bolt rearward. We do not recommend any further disassembly.
That is basically a Savage Model 94 as made for Sears. Stocks are widely available from internet sources.
