The homeless population includes individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and circumstances. Some common factors that contribute to homelessness include lack of affordable housing, mental health issues, substance abuse, and poverty. Many homeless individuals also face barriers to accessing services and resources that could help them find stable housing.
It is estimated that around 200,000 people were left homeless after the 1906 San Francisco earthquake. Many were forced to live in makeshift shelters and refugee camps until they could find more permanent housing solutions.
I suppose that depends on the homeless person in question, some get it together and find jobs others do not.
They save it so they can have enough to be able to find them a place of there own
No matter how many statistics you may find on the web they will never be accurate. The most silent population is the homeless population. We will never be able to know how many homeless people there are in a particular state or for that matter the country. The NY Times reported that in 2002 170, 000 people were unemployed. The most accurate percentage or number won't be available until after the US Census has been done for this decade.
In cities there are more social service organizations available, there are more places to find food and shelter, there are more opportunities to get work to make a better life.
You can help the homeless by offering them a place to live temporarily or maybe helping them find employment so they can make money to find a place to live. Homeless people are not bums with no direction. They simply need help getting back on their feet.
They destroy homes so people go homeless and find food on streets
Homeless individuals can be found in various locations, but they are most commonly seen in urban areas due to the availability of shelters, services, and higher population density. Specific places include street corners, parks, under bridges, and in abandoned buildings. Homeless populations may also congregate near transportation hubs, such as bus or train stations, for access to resources and potential opportunities.
they find food on the ground or steel it and sleep in flats stairs
ther could find useful stuff to get enough money
I know, its very sad. But their cute and cuddly and coudn't change their lives, some homeless people are homeless because they turned down collage when they could have done somthing about it.....Well, that may be true, but there lots of homeless people who just had bad luck, bad lives, bad growing up environments, and there was nothing they could do. It is also very hard to find a job if you have no home.................most people can't see this, though.
